"The access into the venue and parking is terrible. Finding a spot to set once inside the venue was, as expected, poor. A majority of those around us had low back/low profile chairs, but there were those who believed the rules do not apply to them. If I were to suggest improvements, I would like to see the Botanical Garden take their venue and make it more of a bowl. As far as the show goes, Mavis Staples belted out her songs. To say she was awesome is an understatement. At her age and point in her career, her performance was amazing. John Caponera brought his A-game as well. This was the second time we had seen him and both performances were fantastic. From there, herding 100 feral cats in an orderly fashion was similar to the venue. Build up the area in front of the stage so that those without VIP seating can actually see the stage, even with those "wonderful" people who decide to stand between you and the stage, making it impossible to see the stage without standing and impeding the view of those behind us."
